From the selected, hand-finished white oak hardwood and reclaimed french terra cotta floors, to the custom designed millwork and cast concrete counters; you’ll sense the permanence and quality throughout this home. The home underwent a whole-house transformation that included the obvious such as the flooring, kitchen and baths, but the unseens as well, like new foam roofing, upgraded electrical and plumbing, audio speaker system, and new security and smart home connections. ntain.

THE CASA BLANCA INN - SOME HISTORY:

The History of the Casa Blanca Inn is fascinating. Originally it was the home of the Donald Kellogg family. It was designed/built by R.T. "Bob" Evans in the 1920’s, the same Architect that gave us the Jokake Inn and other notable Pueblo and Spanish Colonial revival homes in the Camelback Mountain Area.

Later it became the Casa Blanca Inn which was primarily used by the Borg-Warner Company in the late 1940’s as a corporate retreat, complete with its own landing strip. It opened to the public circa the early 1950s and continued to operate as a resort through the 1970’s (I still remember many a meal at “the Sultan’s Table” , the Inn’s famed restaurant).

In the 1980‘s the resort was converted to residences with additions and new homes designed by Architect George Christensen. Casa Blanca remains an unequaled address with a fantastic location, superb views and rich history. There is simply nothing else like it!
