Unique Hand-built 19370's Adobe homes can be found in the in Phoenix Homestead Historic District. Phoenix Homestead has significant historical merit that speaks of a time when hand built homes and communal gardens made owning your own home a reality. To this day, it's as if time has stood still. Most of these homes offer near-perfect scale and balance of proportion. Many of these structures, including the one featured were designed by Robert Evans.

Some home still exist in Homestead. featuring the original "sod" roofs. A great bit of history, mostly well preserved!
